BEN JAMES
Ben has been in Sylvan Lake since 2001. Married with 3 girls, He has been a realtor in central Alberta since 2006, and has been on the fire dept since 2007.

Hello, my name is Carmen Salsbury, a mother of 4,
One girl and 3 boys. I graduated NAIT in 1992 with a certificate in Apparel Design and Development. In 1995, I opened my Custom sewing and alteration shop, “Sew Perfect” by Carmen, in Wetaskiwin. In 2000 my family moved to Sylvan Lake where I continued to run my Sewing business from my home. I have sewn in various capacities in local Wedding shops and Dry cleaners as well from my home. I love sewing of all types , as well as travelling, camping , hiking, curling and spending time with family and friends .

YEARS OF VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTING
Matt & Ben have been serving on the fire dept in Sylvan Lake now for over 18 years combined and have seen the impact in the recent changes to NFPA 1851. The Sylvan Lake Fire Dept goes to over 300 calls a year, including structure fires, motor vehicle collisions, alarms calls, and medical assists. “We see first hand what our gear goes through on a scene and know what it means to have your gear working for you in every instance.”

Carmen has been working out of her home for more than 20 years in Sylvan Lake helping people with their sewing needs, including Wedding and Tuxedo fitment, and repairs, coveralls for oil field, repairs for dry cleaning companies and many more.
